The human body rejection of animal parts as transplants is not a problem anymore.
Scientists have found a way to overcome this problem. Human organs for transplant
are in great demand and it means that patients must wait a long time to get them.
Recently the scientists have found a way how to use animal tissue such as blood,
vessels and tendons as transplantsbecause earlier it was impossible due to the
human's body rejection.
Or, for example,the heart of a pig transplanted to a human body won't guarantee a
long life for a patient because it is too inert and couldn't be repaired. But the
scientists managed to resolve the problem. They combined freezing, chemical baths
and ultrasound to strip the animal tissue of the cells and block the body's
responce(or rejection) of the immune system.
It is a really great innovation that has only developed in medicine. A lot of time
is needed to achieve high level of using this method and to introduce it in common
trnsplant surgery. However the first step has already been taken and now it requires
further investigation.
